Many businesses are using technology to stay competitive, they create new products and services using technology, and they also use technology to deliver those products and services to their customers on time and within budget. It is experience-based and involves the application of mathematics and science concepts in such techological systems as, but not limited to; construction, manufacturing, communications, transportation, biotechnology, and power and energy.

To spend excessive amounts of time and research towards managing its technology – which is often completely unrelated in type to the company’s primary business – a company detracts resources that could otherwise be allocated to its main business strategies.

Many large scale and medium scale businesses are getting more and more involved in outsourcing as the years go by. An example of jobs being outsourced are call centers who run services such as technical support, credit cards, medical transcription, and even bill payments.

So in a personal or business meeting the communication process involves not just presentation of the ideas of people verbally but also the non verbal facial and bodily expressions.
